Candy Twisted Glass Rods, SHORTS, C104 LIMITED PRODUCT

These twisted candy-striped glass rods are great for adding to your mosaics.  You can cut into slices with wheeled mosaic nippers, or use the whole length.

Pack contains 12 x 6 cm lengths. 3-6mm thick. 

I tack fuse the slices in an electric kiln or 6 minutes in a Microwave Hotpot Kiln to turn the slices into rounded dots which I then add to my mosaics.  See images.  

You can also soften the length or just add them straight into your mosaic, see images.

I use them for flower centres, seed pods, buds and tiny flowers.  Blue and green can also be used as bubbles in a water scene.  Or use in a background for shape and interest.
