As many of you find when you want buy something the cost of postage is horrible. Most companies have taken the opportunity since the pandemic to raise the cost into the stratosphere, especially for international. Because of this you may see £999,999,999.00 postage when you go to checkout. We set this up to try to prompt you to contact me so that I can search for a cheaper alternative. I know this sounds a bit confusing but if you are an international customer please ask and I will find out the carriage costs for you.

Adhesives UK and USA

Many of you ask about the adhesives I use in my work. I use silicone for my glass on mirror or other non-porous bases and a transparent construction glue for my clear glass and acrylic/plexiglass bases. MANY Brands are not worldwide so you have to find something that works of you, producing the results you need. I carry out this test whenever I use a new product: Glue 2 piece of glass together and leave to dry for a minimum of 3 days. Next, soak in water for at least a week. Many of you ask how I hang my mirror garden mosaics. Displaying glass is always a bit problematic, it must be secure, set in the right location and really show off your work. If I cannot find something that fits I design something suitable and have it made by an engineer or metal worker. This is certainly not the cheapest way but after all the time and love you have put into your mosaic, do you not want to display it safely?
